PSG are prepared to sell Kylian Mbappe to Man Utd this summer should Qatar's Sheikh Jassim succeed in his takeover bid at Old Trafford.
Sheikh Jassim is currently battling it out with British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe to acquire one of the world's most famous clubs. Mbappe meanwhile has told PSG that he will not extend his contract beyond 2024.
As a result the French giants have told the 24-year-old superstar striker that they will sell him this summer rather than lose him for nothing in a year's time.
Real Madrid have always been hot favourites to land Mbappe after almost doing so in the past, but relations between Los Blancos and PSG are somewhat strained.
And, according to The Mirror, PSG are prepared to sell to Man Utd if Sheikh Jassim comes out on top in his battle with Ratcliffe.
United and coach Erik ten Hag are desperate for a top striker to spearhead their return to the land of the living, but have already reportedly pulled out of a move for Tottenham's Harry Kane.
Napoli star Victor Osimhen is another player who has attracted United's interest - but the price tag for the Nigerian is likely to be too high.
Mbappe of course would cost a record British transfer fee (likely in the race of £150m), but as one of the world's top stars that would still be seen as a steal for Man Utd and the Premier League.
Man Utd looking to sign Darren Fletcher's SONS
Manchester United are trying to sign the sons of their technical director, according to the Athletic.
The Red Devils appointed former player and five-time Premier League champion Darren Fletcher as the club's technical director in 2021. Despite his lengthy spell with United, his twin sons, Tyler and Jack, are part of the Manchester City academy - but perhaps not for much longer.
City reportedly want to keep the young stars, and a 'substantial fee' might be required to get any deal over the line.
Adrian Rabiot stalls for time as Man Utd wait for answer
News from Italy now, and long-time Man Utd target Adrian Rabiot will not make a decision on his future until the end of June.
The French star is a free agent this summer and has the offer of a one-year deal on the table from current club Juventus.
According to Turin outlet Tuttosport, Rabiot - and his mum and agent Veronique - want a little more time to ponder their options though with Man Utd also bidding for his services and that Old Trafford takeover saga rumbling on
